James Newton is a seasoned visual effects professional with extensive experience spanning both Indian and American film industries. His journey in visual effects began in 2008, where he built a strong foundation working as an FX and matchmove artist in India’s vibrant film industry for five years, contributing to more than 75 feature films.

Seeking to expand his horizons, he relocated to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). This educational milestone enhanced his technical expertise and creative approach to visual storytelling.

His professional portfolio includes work with prestigious studios in the American market, including Blur Studio, Encore, and FuseFX, where he honed his skills on high-end productions and collaborated with industry leaders.

After developing a comprehensive understanding of VFX production pipelines and building relationships across the global industry, he is now transitioning into a VFX Producer role. This strategic career move leverages his technical background and industry connections.

With 17 years of industry experience spanning two continents and numerous successful projects, he has brought both technical expertise and business acumen to visual effects production.
